Description

Bottom of an Arabic legal document. There are four witness statements stacked on top of each other. The document itself is missing. It may have been a declaration of power of attorney (tawkīl) by [...] b. ارميس. The witnesses: [...] b. Muḥammad b. Ṭāhir b. al-Ḥusayn; Ishāq b. Ṣadīq(?) b. Ibrāhīm al-[...]; Ḥammād b. Muḥāmmad b. al-Ḥasan; Ibrāhīm b. [...] b. Muḥammad al-Khaṭīb. There are additional notations at the bottom. Reused for literary text (seliḥot for the 9th of Av?) in Hebrew on both the margin of recto and verso.
