Legal document. Location: Fustat. Dated: Wednesday, 21 Shevaṭ 1422 = 1 February 1111 CE. Written and signed by Yiṣḥaq b. Shemuel ha-Sefaradi (the Spaniard); also signed by Peraḥya b. Shelomo. Opens by invoking the courts of Cairo and Fustat and the authority of the Nagid Mevorakh b. Saʿadya. Declaration made by the Byzantine dyer (al-ṣabbāgh al-rūmī) David b. Avraham in favor of Yiṣḥaq b. Netanʾel ha-Levi. It is a dissolution of a partnership between David b. Avraham and two local people of whom one is called Dimyāṭī, i.e., of Damietta. Also mentions the names Abū l-Munā b.
