الوصف
Literary text in Judaeo-Arabic in two columns about Alexander the Great. Narrating how when Alexander went east to wage war on Persia in a place called YQṬR(?) or YQṬRYʾY(?), Darius (Dārā b. Dārā) sent him a letter commanding him to desist and to submit to him ("This is the text of the letter: From Darius, king of kings and master of the nations of the world, to Alexander the Macedonian. I know, O Alexander, your might, but God has raised me over the whole world and everybody is under my command and rule. . . ."). The text goes on to say that Alexander ignored the letter and invaded Persia, and there ensued a great battle. On verso there is Hebrew piyyuṭ for the evening prayer (maʿariv).
