الوصف

Recto: Instructions in Judaeo-Arabic for the preparation of drugs (appears to be from a booklet of recipes), mentioning pure rose water. (Information from FGP.) Verso: The upper section is a continuation of recto. The lower section then lists various names and goods along with Hebrew numerals. E.g., al-Rayyis; Ghanāʾim (1); Abū Zahr (1); his partner (1/2); Ṣadoq(?) (1.2); Av[raham?]; al-Kallām (wound specialist); ʿImrān al-Ḥakīm (5 dirhams); Muʿāfā. At the bottom the word shamʿa (wax/candle) appears followed by '4.' It's not clear whether this list has anything to do with the preceding medical recipe(s).
